It’s a sad day for whodat nation, but I agree it was time.
With back to back seasons having major injuries, I feel like it was time to step back for himself, his family and the team. I truly hope we don’t see him fade away and instead, continue a heavy presence on the sideline. He’s a huge part of the soul of this team and his knowledge, support and talent can absolutely continue being utilized.
One thing is for sure, the team will never be the same without #9.
